The long-awaited Toyota Vellfire luxurious MPV will finally go on sale in the Indian market on February 26, 2020. Interested buyers can pre-book the MPV by paying an initial sum of Rs 10 lakh. Ahead of the launch, key details about the Vellfire MPV have been revealed online.

The Toyota Vellfire MPV will come in a single Executive Lounge variant, which comes fitted with host of high-end comfort and convenience features. It gets powered VIP seats in the middle row with powered leg supports or ottomans. Adding to it, the central seats come with heating and cooling functions, memory function, plush leather upholstery and fold out tables. Customers can opt for flaxen brown or all-black upholstery for the seats.

Toyota Vellfire Interior

In terms of proportions, the Toyota Vellfire is 4,935mm in length, 1,850mm in width and 1,895mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 3,000rmm. The MPV has a ground clearance of 165mm. Mercedes-Benz V-Class is around 205mm longer and 78mm wider, and rides on 200mm longer wheelbase than the Vellfire.

The Toyota Vellfire will come in a single hybrid powertrain option. It will be powered by a 2.5-litre turbo petrol engine and two electric motors for its electronic 4WD system. The petrol engine produces 117PS and 198Nm of torque, while the front and rear motors produces 143PS and 68PS respectively. This hybrid powertrain runs primarily on battery power with a 60:40 split between EV and ICE drive mode respectively. It is claimed to return a fuel economy of 16.35kmpl.
