Toyota Vellfire 6-Seater Luxurious MPV Teased; Launch on February 26
The much-awaited Toyota Vellfire luxurious MPV will finally go on sale in the Indian market on February 26, 2020. The sportier version of the Alphard MPV, the new Vellfire will directly rival the Mercedes-Benz V-Class. Bookings for the MPV have also been started, and interested buyers can pre-book the Toyota Vellfire by paying a token amount of Rs 10 lakh.
Ahead of the launch, Toyota has released a new teaser of the Vellfire MPV with a tagline “Get Ready To Ascent Into Luxury” and a hashtag “#SustainableLuxury”. The company is likely to start delivery of the luxurious MPV in April or May 2020. It will come via CBU route under the government’s new import norms. Likely to be offered in a single top-end variant, the Vellfire is expected to be priced around Rs 75 lakh to Rs 80 lakh.
The Toyota Vellfire 6-seater luxurious MPV will come in a single petrol-hybrid engine option. It will receive a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder hybrid petrol engine that offers a combined power output of 197PS. The hybrid system includes a 2.5L petrol engine and two electric motors. In terms of features, the Vellfire MPV gets 10.2-inch HD displays for the rear occupants, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 3-zone climate control, twin moonroofs, ventilated and powered seats, leather upholstery, etc. The Toyota Vellfire MPV will be offered in 4 exterior colour options – Black, Burning Black, Graphite ME and White Pearl Crystal Shine. Adding to it, the company will offer two interior schemes for customisation – Black and Flaxen.
