Toyota Kirloskar Motor is ready to launch three new models in coming months. The plan outlines the all-new Urban Cruiser Hyryder SUV, updated Urban Cruiser and Innova HyCross Hybrid. The Japanese automaker will also give a generation to its top-selling SUV – Fortuner. The SUV’s new model might debut by the end of this year or early next year. Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder
Prices of the upcoming Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder SUV are likely to be revealed towards the end of August 2022. The model will come with two powertrain options – 1.5L petrol with Suzuki’s mild hybrid tech and a 1.5L with Toyota’s strong hybrid tech. While the former has ISG (Integrated Starter Generator) and makes 103bhp with 137Nm, the latter comes with the first-in-segment AWD system and promises 115bhp. Updated Toyota Urban Cruiser
After the Hyryder, the company is likely to bring in the updated Urban Cruiser SUV that will receive changes similar to the new Brezza. On the feature front, it will offer a new touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity, navigation and voice recognition, a new semi-digital instrument cluster, a SIM-based connected car suite, wireless charging system, an electric sunroof and more. Toyota Innova HyCross Hybrid
The new Toyota Innova HyCross Hybrid MPV is reported to make its India debut near around this Diwali season. Its market launch might take place towards the end of 2022 or in early 2023. The new Innova HyCross Hybrid will be sold alongside the existing Innova Crysta. Powertrain setup of the MPV is reported to include a 2.0L petrol hybrid system with twin-motor.
