Toyota Kirloskar Motor has increased price of its top selling utility vehicles – Innova Crysta and Fortuner. While the MPV has witnessed a price hike of Rs 23,000, the SUV gets expensive by up to Rs 77,000. After the price hike, the Toyota Innova Crysta petrol variants cost from Rs 17.45 lakh for the base GX MT 7-seater to Rs 23.83 lakh for the top-end ZX AT 7-seater. Talking about the Toyota Fortuner, the 7-seater SUV comes in two petrol (2.7L) variants – 4X2 MT and 4X2 AT. These models are now available at Rs 32.59 lakh and Rs 34.18 lakh respectively. The 4X2 MT and AT diesel variants are priced at Rs 35.09 lakh – Rs 37.37 lakh respectively. While the 4X4 manual diesel variant costs Rs 38.93 lakh, the 4X4 automatic diesel model is offered at Rs 41.22 lakh.

The Fortuner Legender 4X2 AT, Legender 4X4 AT and GR Sport 4X4 AT diesel variants received a maximum price hike of Rs 77,000. Now, these models are available at Rs 42.82 lakh, Rs 46.54 lakh and Rs 50,34 lakh respectively. Prices of the Toyota Camry Hybrid and Vellfire Hybrid have also been increased by Rs 90,000 and Rs 1,85,000 respectively. Now, the hybrid sedan costs Rs 45.25 lakh and the luxury MPV is priced at Rs 94,45,000. One must note that all aforementioned prices are ex-showroom.

The Toyota Innova and Fortuner are ready to receive major updates next year. The company is reported to showcase the Innova HyCross at the 2023 Auto Expo, which will be followed by its market launch. The same model will be sold as Toyota Innova Zenix in Indonesia. If reports are to be believed, the Zenix will be come with Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) and an electric sunroof.
The 2023 Toyota Fortuner will also come with significant cosmetic and feature upgrades along with a hybrid powertrain. The SUV is reported to be equipped with ADAS, vehicle stability control and electric power steering.
