The Toyota Innova Crysta is, undoubtedly, one of the most awaited launches of this year. The MPV’s new-generation model will hit showrooms on May 3, 2016. The company hasn’t officially revealed specifications and details of the MPV, but now we have a fair idea of what to expect after its brochure scans have leaked online. Interestingly, this time the top-end ZX trim’s features have surfaced on the web.

The new Innova Crysta ZX will be the most loaded trim of the MPV that will feature a 7-inch audio system with navigation, automatic climate control, smart entry system with start/stop button, wood trim on steering wheel, seven airbags, anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake-force distribution (EBD) and brake assist (BA), automatic projector headlamps and 17 inch alloy wheels.
Coming to the engine, the 2016 Toyota Innova Crysta will come with two powertrain options – a 2.4-litre and a 2.8-litre GD diesel. The former churns out 146.9bhp of power and 343Nm of torque, while the latter one delivers 174.5bhp and 360Nm of torque. Transmissions on offer will be a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. Though, the AT option is available only on GX and ZX trims.
The new Innova is 150mm longer, 70mm wider and 35mm taller than its predecessor. The MPV now measures 4,735mm in length, 1,830mm in width and 1,795mm height. The wheelbase, however, remains unchanged at 2,750mm. The Innova Crysta will come with a choice of 6 exterior paint options – Alumina Jade, Attitude Black, Avant Grade Bronze, Dark Gray Mica Metallic, Silver Metallic and Super White.
