Toyota Kirloskar Motor has announced prices of the much-awaited Urban Cruiser Hyryder SUV. The SUV model lineup comes in four trims – E, S, G and V – priced between Rs 15.11 lakh – Rs 18.99 lakh. While the mild hybrid V variant costs Rs 17.09 lakh, the strong hybrid S, G and V variants are offered at Rs 15.11 lakh, Rs 17.49 lakh and Rs 18.99 respectively.
One must note that the aforementioned prices are ex-showroom. The company will reveal prices of the remaining mild hybrid Toyota Hyryder variants in a phased manner. Bookings for the new Toyota SUV are already underway for a token sum of Rs 25,000. The company is providing a warranty of 3 years/1,00,000km that can be extended to 5 years/2,20,000km. The strong hybrid battery is available with a warranty of 8 years/1,60,000km.

The strong hybrid Toyota Hyryder comes with the brand’s 1.5L TNGA Atkinson Cycle engine (92bhp/122Nm) that’s paired to an electric motor (79bhp/141Nm). The combined power output is 114bhp. Transmission duties are taken care of by an eCVT gearbox. The setup also includes a 177.6V lithium-ion battery that helps it deliver a fuel efficiency of 27.97kmpl. The mild hybrid setup has Maruti Suzuki’s 1.5L K15C engine (called Neo Drive) that’s good enough for 103bhp and 137Nm of torque. It comes with two gearbox options – a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic. The manual mild hybrid variants are available with an optional AWD system and it’s exclusively offered on the range-topping V trim.
