Toyota Glanza’s New Teaser Reveal Front Design
Toyota Glanza will be launched in the first half of June 2019
The first product from Toyota and Suzuki alliance – Toyota Glanza will officially go on sale in the first week of June 2019. The model has already been leaked, revealing most of the design changes and interior. Ahead of the official debut, Toyota has released a new short teaser video revealing the front of the car for the first time.
Except for the new front grille, the Toyota Glanza is exactly the same as the Maruti Baleno hatchback. Toyota will soon release the new advertisements for the Glanza on all platforms, including TV screens, shopping mals and on Internet. The Japanese automaker is planning to pitch the new Glanza as a premium hatchback for the new-gen buyers.
The leaked images shows that the design, key features, dashboard design, infotainment and engine of the vehicle, which is identical to the Baleno. It comes equipped with new front grille that has horizontal slats. Dashboard, steering wheel, infotainment system and even seats are directly sourced from the sibling hatchback. The Toyota Glanza will be offered in 2 trim levels, both of which based on the top-end versions of the Baleno. The new model will come with 3 years/ 1 lakh kilometers warranty as standard, which is more than that of the Maruti Baleno’s warranty. To be marketed as the premium car, the Glanza will be priced higher than the Maruti Suzuki Baleno.
Powering the Toyota Glanza will be the Maruti’s new 1.2-litre BS6 petrol engine that powers the Baleno. This engine is capable of producing 83PS of power and 113Nm of torque. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual and a CVT automatic.
