After the updated Innova Crysta, Toyota Kirloskar Motor will introduce the Fortuner facelift in January 2021. In fact, unofficial bookings of the new model have already been started in the country. The 2021 Toyota Fortuner will witness some noticeable changes inside and out along with a more powerful 2.8L diesel engine. According to a fresh media report, the company will also roll out the more premium and sportier version of the SUV – Toyota Fortuner Legender.
– The Fortuner Legender will be sold alongside the SUV’s updated model. The former carries slightly more aggressive design elements and offer some extra features over the regular model.
– The front fascia looks sharper with newly-designed LED projector headlamps with LED DRLs that seems borrowed from the Yaris. The lamps have black eye-brow like treatment connecting the slimmer grille.

– The SUV features LED fog lamps with black housing and Lexus-inspired sequential turn signal on the lower side of the bumper.
– The Fortuner Legender has been assembled with newly-designed 20-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. Minor changes have also been made to its rear bumper.

– The SUV also offers a 360-degree reversing camera, wireless charging and dual-tone seats. The higher trim is likely to be offered some advanced features such as radar guided cruise control, a lane departure warning system and wheel orientation sensor for off-roading similar to the Hilux pick-up truck.
– One of the major updated will come in the form of a more powerful 2.8L diesel engine. The motor delivers a claimed power of 204bhp and 500Nm of torque.
– The 2021 Toyota Fortuner (regular model) will be offered with the 2.8L GD diesel engine.
– The SUV’s updated model can be had with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque convertor automatic transmission.
