Toyota is all set to launch the much-awaited Etios Cross in the Indian car market. The vehicle will be made available in four different variants- two petrol and two diesel. Like other Toyota’s, the base petrol model is named ‘G’ while the top spec is called ‘V’. While the entry spec model is powered by a 1.2-litre DOHC engine that produces 80PS, the high end V trim is propelled by the 1.5-litre mill producing 90PS.

The diesel model also comes with two diesel trims, ‘GD’ and ‘VD’. Bith the engines are powered by the same 1.4-litre D-4D engine that churns out a maximum power output of 68PS at 3200rpm and 170Nm of top torque at 1800-2400rpm. All models come mated to a five-speed manual transmission gearbox. The Etios Cross is 3895mm long, 1735mm wide and 1555mm tall, making it 120mm longer, 40mm wider and 45mm taller than the Etios hatchback. The top spec models are equipped with some high end features including an advanced music system with AUX-in and Bluetooth, steering wheel with audio controls mounted on it, dual airbags and anti-lock braking system.
