Toyota Camry facelift teased; debut at Moscow Motor Show

2015 Toyota Camry

Japanese car manufacturer Toyota has released a teaser image of the Toyota Camry facelift which is scheduled to be unveiled at the Moscow Motor Show. The vehicle will also come to India sometime next year. However, the company hasn’t revealed much information about the change and the teaser shows only lights. The newly designed grille is complemented by the redesigned headlamps. It will sport projector headlamps and LED daytime running lamps.

If media reports are to be believed, the front fascia of the saloon is likely to get a new bumper cover and a prominent grille. The new grille is complemented by the LED low and high-beam headlights. The new front hood gets more striking character lines that flows from its muscular fenders flares across its new doors and rear quarter panel, and meets the new trunk. At the back, the vehicle also gets new bumper cover featuring new tail lamps.

In India, the Toyota Camry hybrid is available in petrol automatic and hybrid version. The petrol model is powered by 2.5L engine producing 180PS while the hybrid motor develops 160PS. It is also expected to get new interior ingredients such as soft-touch materials, 4.2-litre multi-information display as meter cluster, and first-in class wireless charging system for phone.
