Maruti Suzuki India that launched the Ciaz sedan this month, is planning to launch the top-of-the line Z+ trim next year. If media reports are to be believed, the Z+ trim will be positioned above the Z(O) trim and is equipped with a couple of new products.
Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is available in four trim levels- V, V+, Z and Z (O) in both petrol and diesel fuel options. Along with the features that are accessible in the Z(O) version, the upcoming top-spec model gets touchscreen infotainment system.
The current top-spec model features 16-inch alloy wheels, full leather upholstery, and automatic climate control with rear AC vents and others. The only addition to the Z+ trim is the new touchscreen infotainment system. This will give it a better chance to compete well against the segment leader- the Honda City, which is equipped with an audio system with 5-inch display, but, without touchscreen. It is expected to be priced around Rs. 30,000 more than the Z(O) trim.
Engine Specs-
Petrol- 1.4-litre, 4-cylinder unit producing 92PS and 130Nm of torque
Diesel- 1.3-litre multi-jet motor that develops 90PS and 200Nm of torque
