Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch the new XL6 MPV in the country today. Interested buyers can pre-book the new 2022 Maruti XL6 online or at authorised NEXA dealerships by paying a token amount of Rs 11,000. The new model will come with cosmetic design changes and upgraded interior along with a new engine-gearbox combinations.
In terms of styling, the new 2022 Maruti XL6 will come with a new front grille and new headlamps connected via a chrome bar. The MPV gets a new fog lamp assembly with black surrounding and body-coloured ORVMs. It rides on a new set of 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. The MPV gets revised front and rear bumpers.
The new model will come in Zeta, Alpha and a new, top-spec Alpha Plus trims. It will be offered in six exterior colour options – Grandeur Grey, Celestial Blue, Arctic White, Brave Khaki, Splendid Silver and Opulent Red. The Red, Khaki and Silver paint schemes will also be offered with Black Roof.
2022 Maruti XL6 – Top Six Features
1. Ventilated Seats
The new XL6 will be equipped with ventilated front seats. The company has released a teaser video that reveals the ventilated function for the driver and co-passenger seats.
The new MPV will also come with segment-first 360 degree view camera. The MPV will have four bird eye view cameras, which offers a 3D all around view when parking and driving at low speeds.
3. Heads-Up Display
Similar to the new Baleno, the new Suzuki XL6 will be the second Maruti product to offer Heads-Up Display or HUD. It shows details like speed, engine RPM, navigation instructions, engine symbols on a transparent glass screen that is above the driver’s instrument cluster. This allow the driver to see relevant information without taking eyes off the road.
4. New Engine With 6AT, Paddle Shifters
The new XL6 will be equipped with a new-gen 1.5L K15C Dualjet petrol engine that powers the new Ertiga. This engine has two injectors per cylinder for offering greater control over fuel injection. The powertrain produces 103bhp and 136.8Nm of torque.
Instead of a 4-speed automatic gearbox, the new XL6 will come with a 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox. Moreover, the MPV will also offer paddle shifters.
5. New Touchscreen Infotainment System
The MPV will get a new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with SmartPlay Studio supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It will receive the in-built Suzuki Connect telematics.
6. Tyre Pressure Monitoring System
The MPV will come with several segment-leading features including the factory-fitted tyre pressure monitoring system or TPMS.
