2017 Suzuki Access Metallic Sonic Silver variant with drum brake and disc brake version is available at Rs 54,302 and Rs 57,615 (ex, Delhi) respectively.

The Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer, Suzuki has launched the 2017 Access 125 in the Indian market. The new Suzuki Access 2017 gets a BSIV engine, AHO (Automatic Headlamp On) feature and a new Metallic Sonic Silver shade. The new Metallic Sonic Silver variant with drum brake and disc brake version is priced at Rs 54,302 and Rs 57,615 (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively.

The new Metallic shade not only highlights its muscular statement, but accentuates its overall design lines as well. Now, the Suzuki Access 125 is available in a total of six colour schemes – new Metallic Sonic Silver (new), Pearl Suzuki Deep Blue, Candy Sonoma Red, Metallic Fibroin Grey, Glass Sparkle Black and Pearl Mirage White. The 2017 Suzuki Access 125 will lock horns with the Honda Activa 125 and Hero Maestro Edge.

New Suzuki Access 2017 Design & Features

For 2017, the new Suzuki Access 125 scooter receives AHO feature thus making it safer than before. The scooter brims with features and style graphics. The headlight has a chrome finish 3D emblem right beneath it. The Access received a mid-life facelift previous year with minor cosmetic upgrades. The 2017 model looks largely identical to the old one. It features the same indicators, side panels and wraparound tail light cluster with LED brake lights closely guarded by indicators. The scooter has a larger floorboard along with a front pocket, an optional DC socket, an simple Suzuki Easy Start system which is first of its kind in this segment.

The bikemaker has also added leg shields and front fenders for extra protection and endurance. Similar to the previous model, the 2017 Suzuki Access 125 comes with a sturdier but lightweight frame which enhances its fuel efficiency, cornering performance, as well as straight line stability. Its performance is further supported by a larger 12-inch front tyre along with finely tuned suspensions that ensure more comfort and stability over rough and uneven roads. Other feature include push type shuttered key, a service indicators, and so forth.

The 2017 Suzuki Access comes with the BS-IV (Bharat Stage IV emission norms) compliant engine – 124cc single-pot, air-cooled, four-stroke OHC. This power mill is benefited with SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) technology, and churns out a maximum power of 8.54hp at 7,000rpm and a peak torque of 9.8Nm at 5,000rpm. Paired with a CVT (continuous variable transmission) gearbox, it can achieve 0-60kmph within 6.56 seconds. The new Access offers a top speed of 92kmph which is highly appealing for highway riders.

The new version of Suzuki Access gets coil-spring, oil-damped, telescopic over the front end, while the rear end has coil-sprung, oil-damped, and swing arm type suspension. These help in a smooth , vibration-free, and sophisticated ride even over the most rough terrains. The new Access 125 also features 120mm drum type brakes on front as well as the rear end. While, the disc front brake comes as an option.
