Tesla Cybertruck Will Join Dubai Police Patrol Fleet In 2020
Dubai Police has been known for its exotic fleet of luxury sportscars including right from the Lamborghini Aventador to the Bugatti Veyron. Now, the Tesla Cybertruck electric pickup will be new member to join the official fleet of the Dubai Police in 2020. The information has been confirmed by official twitter handle of the Dubai Police department.
Attributes such as bulletproof windows, body-built of cold-pressed stainless steel and off-road capabilities make the Tesla Cybertruck a perfect security vehicle for VIPs and VVIPs. The electric pickup truck sports a futuristic design with elements such as LED headlamps, angular wheel arches and a pointed roof.
The Tesla Cybertruck has a minimalist interior design with 6-seats layout. One of its major attractions is the 17-inch touchscreen tablet that works for infotainment and several in-car functions. It offers a cargo volume of 6.5 feet long along with a storage space of around 100 cubic feet. The electric pickup stands high on 406mm of ground clearance. The new electric pickup from Tesla will come with three engine options – Single Motor RWD, Dual Motor AWD and Tri Motor AWD. While the single motor version delivers a range of over 402km, the dual motor version promises over 482km. The range-topping tri motor variant offers a range of over 805km. The Tesla Cybertruck has a maximum towing capacity of 6,350kg. It can accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in 3.0 seconds.
