Tata Tigor Electric

The Tata Tigor EV will be launched in phased manner across the country.

Tata Motors is planning to establish an electric vehicle manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh. According to a latest report, Tata officials have told Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu that the company has been working on an electric car that will be rolled out in the next two months. While the vehicle’s name and details are yet to be revealed, it is likely to be the Tata Tigor EV that was previewed at the 2018 Auto Expo.

The Tata Tigor EV will be launched in phased manner across the country. The reason behind this decision is the insufficient charging stations and lack of required infrastructure. For private buyers, the Tigor electric car will be priced around Rs 11 lakh (inclusive of GST). The electric carline will be spread across four trims – XE, XM, XT and XZ.
