We have been constantly informing you about Tata Motors plans of launching its much awaited Zest and Bolt hatchback in the Indian car market. According to auto.NDTV, The Company will launch the much anticipated Zest compact sedan and the Bolt hatchback in August, 2014.
Both cars will come with petrol as well diesel fuel options. While the gasoline version will get the new turbocharged 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine, the oil burner will be propelled by the tried & trusted 1.3-litre multijet diesel engine. Interestingly, the diesel version of the Tata Zest and the Bolt will come with the automated manual transmission (AMT) gearbox.
Based on the thoroughly modified X1 platform, the Zest and the Bolt hatchback will be equipped with high end safety and other features. The vehicle is equipped with several segments first equipped including EPAS with active return function and speed sensitive power steering which has been developed by ZF. For connectivity, the Zest and the Bolt has Harman infotainment system and MapmyIndia navigation. Adding to it, this model gets one-touch 5-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, smart voice recognition, advanced smartphone integration, social media integration, touch phone controlled interface and many more.
