New Tata Tigor 2018

The new Tata Tigor 2018 will get a new Harman infotainment system sourced from the Nexon.

Tata Tigor subcompact sedan entered our market in March, 2017. Touted as India’s first StyleBack, the Tigor was initially made available in four variants – XE, XT, XZ and XZ (O) – with both diesel and petrol engines paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. In September 2017, the carmaker added the XM second-level variant to the carline at Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The compact sedan also gets two AMT (automated manual transmission) variants – XTA and XZA – in November, 2017.

Aiming to further boost its sales, Tata introduced a special Tigor Buzz edition based on the XT trim in June, 2018. The home-grown carmaker will also bring in the performance oriented version of the sedan – Tata Tigor JTP – sometime this year. Furthermore, the electric iteration of the sedan will also make its way in near future.
