Tata Tigor EV Now Available For Fleet Market; Priced At Rs 9.99 Lakh

The Tata Tigor EV is available in two variants – XM and XT.

Tata’s first electric vehicle, Tigor EV has been made available for the fleet operators in the country. The Tata Tigor EV comes in two variants – EV XM and EV XT – priced at Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 10.90 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively.  One must note that the ex-showroom prices include TCS (Tax Collected at Source – 1 percent tax imposed on vehicles priced above Rs 10 lakh) and incentives offered under the FAME II schemes (which is around Rs 1.62 lakh). For power, the Tata Tigor EV makes use of a 16.2kWh battery pack delivering power worth 30kW (41bhp) at 4,500rpm against 105Nm of torque at 2,500rpm. It also has a 72V, 3-phase induction motor transmitting power to the front wheels. The electric sedan offers a claimed range of 142km on a single charge.

The Tata Tigor EV offers the same set of comfort, connectivity and safety features available on the petrol-powered XM and XT variants. Though, the boot space of the electric version is around 89-litres is less than the standard model, which is 419-litres. Both trims of the electric sedan offer dual airbags, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, corner stability control and seat belt with pretensioners, load-limiters and reminder. The Tata Tigor EV is made available in three colour options – Silver, White and Blue.
