Reports claim that the Tata Tiago Wizz special edition will hit showrooms in September 2017.
Tata Tiago Wizz Special Edition could be offered with both 1.2-litre Revotron petrol and 1.05-litre Revotroq diesel engine options.
Tata Tiago has turned Pune-based carmaker’s fortune in the hatchback segment. With over 65,000 units of sales, the Tiago has become one of the top selling products in the company’s lineup. The hatchback achieved 1 lakh booking milestone previous month. Aiming to boost its sales, Tata Motors is planning to introduce the Tiago special edition that was recently spotted during its test rounds.
While there is no official word about the Tata Tiago special edition, reports claim that this new version will be christened as the Tiago Wizz. Interestingly, we have seen the special ‘Wizz’ and ‘Limited Edition’ badging on the test mule. Rumour also has it that the Tata Tiago Wizz will go on sale in September 2017. The leaked spy pictures reveal that the Tata Tiago Wizz special edition features glossy black roof and ORVMs with Pearlescent White finishing. The spotted model is fitted with sporty black 13-inch rims instead of the standard 14-inch unit. The car also features manually adjustable ORVMs. Though, it misses out on the front fog lamps, passenger side vanity mirror and day/night IRVM. You can notice the special “blue dotted wheel rims” on the car. While most of the design and styling elements will be carried over from the regular model. Interior of the new Tiago limited edition will surely be more feature-loaded than the standard one. Since it’s just a special edition, no mechanical changes will be made on the vehicle. The Tata Tiago Wizz special edition could be offered with both 1.2-litre Revotron petrol and 1.05-litre Revotroq diesel engine options. However, there is possibility that Tata might offer the limited edition with petrol engine only as it’s in high-in-demand. The gasoline unit, with a 5-speed manual gearbox, makes 83bhp at 6,000rpm with 114Nm at 3,500rpm.
