Tata Tiago JTP and Tigor JTP Get Feature Upgrades; Priced At Rs 6.69 Lakh
Tata Motors has updated its two performance-oriented models – Tiago JTP hatchback and Tigor JTP compact sedan. With the feature upgrade, the JTP twins have witnessed a price hike of Rs 30,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively. The 2019 Tata Tiago and Tigor JTP twins get a larger 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity instead of the old 5.0-inch unit. The electrically adjustable wing mirrors now come with power folding function. The 2019 Tata Tigor JTP, too, is now available with automatic climate control. The JTP twins also receive a co-driver seat-belt warning and a high-speed alert system.
No other changes have been made to both models. The 2019 Tata Tiago JTP and Tigor JTP continue to come with the same 1.2L, 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine pushing out a maximum power of 114bhp and 150Nm of torque. Just so you know, the Tata Tiago JTP and Tigor JTP were first previewed at the 2018 Delhi Auto Expo, followed by their launch in October last year. Both models are co-developed by Tata Motors and Jayem Automotives Pvt. Ltd.
