Tata Punch Camo Edition Launch Tomorrow – What To Expect?

Tata Motors keeps updating its existing product lineup with the roll out of special editions and variants. Ahead of the festive season, the carmaker is ready to bring in the Tata Punch Camo Edition that’s teased via an official video. The teaser, however, doesn’t reveal details of the special edition. One can see its headlamps, alloy wheels and side fenders with CAMO badge. While details of the mini SUV’s special edition will be revealed in coming weeks, it’s likely to receive a few cosmetic enhancements over the regular model.

The Tata Punch Camo Edition will be offered in select trims. Similar to the Harrier Camo Edition, it might be offered in Green colour scheme with blacked out treatment on the grille, headlamp surrounds, side skirts and lower section of the glass house. It’s likely to feature black finish alloy wheels and tailgate with a black strip. The company might offer an accessory package with it that’s likely to include special Camo decals on the roof, doors and hood, Punch lettering on the bonnet, front parking sensors and a side step.

Interior of the new Punch special edition might have sporty all-black theme. The black leatherette seats with contrast Camo Green stitching and Blackstone Matrix trim on the dashboard will further enhance its sporty looks. It the special edition will be based on the top-end Accomplished trim, it will offer features such as a 7.0-inch semi-digital instrument cluster, auto climate control, power folding wing mirrors, puddle lamps, cooled glovebox, rear seat centre armrest, LED DRLs, auto headlamps with wipers and projector headlamps.

No changes will be made to its engine setup. The Tata Punch Camo Edition will use the 1.2L petrol motor with manual and AMT gearbox. It pushes out a peak power of 86bhp and 113Nm of torque. The engine has been boosted with engine start-stop technology (manual only).
