Tata Nexon XZ Variant Launched; Priced At Rs 7.99 Lakh

The Tata Nexon XZ has been priced at Rs 7.99 lakh (petrol) and Rs 8.99 lakh (diesel), ex-showroom, Delhi.

Further expanding its subcompact SUV lineup, Tata Motors has introduced a new Nexon XZ variant positioned between the XT and XZ+ trims. Available in both petrol and diesel engine options, the Tata Nexon XZ has been priced at Rs 7.99 lakh and Rs 8.99 lakh respectively (ex-showroom, Delhi). Now, the SUV model lineup comes in a total of four grades – XE, XM, XT, XZ and XZ+.

The new Tata Nexon XZ grade offers 14 premium features, which until now were offered on the XZ+ trim only. The new variant comes equipped with the projector headlamps, electric folding rear view mirrors, day/night IRVM, a floating dashtop touchscreen with Android Auto support, voice command, voice alerts, text/whatapp message readour and reply, reverse parking camera, 4 tweeters, drive-away locking feature, height adjustable driver’s seat and seatbelts, rear AC vents and fabric inserts in door trims. The new Nexon XZ trim, however, misses out on features like LED daytime running lights (DRLs), front fog lamps with cornering assistance, rear fog lamps, alloy wheels, rear defogger, 60:40 split folding rear seat, centre console with front armrest and tambour sliding door, smart key with push button start and rear centre armrest. Read – Tata Nexon Vs Honda WRV

Unlike the XZ+ grade that comes with dual-tone colour scheme, the Tata Nexon XZ grade is available in five single shades – Vermont Red, Moroccan Blue, Seattle Silver, Calgary White and Glasgow Grey.

Under the hood, the new Nexon trim features the same 1.2-litre Revtron turbo petrol and 1.5-litre Revotorq turbo diesel engine. The power output of both the motors stand at 108bhp (110PS) with a peak torque of 170Nm and 260Nm respectively. The subcompact SUV comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox only.
