Tata Nexon Facelift Rendered; Launch Early Next Year

2019 Tata Nexon Render

We’ve seen multiple spy pictures of the upcoming 2020 Tata Nexon facelift. However, very little is known about the changes that will be made to the vehicle. If it looks anything like this render, the new Nexon facelift will surely be better than the existing model.

In the new rendering, we get to see the modern and more aggressive front fascia of the subcompact SUV. It features a new grille with a thin chrome bar, revised headlamps and bonnet with more sculpted creases. Compared to the current model, the 2020 Tata Nexon facelift gets more prominent wheel arches and higher roofline. Read – 4 Changes Expected In 2020 Tata Nexon Facelift

The updated Nexon will feature the new-generation Impact 2.0 design language that made debut in the Harrier SUV. The latest spy pictures reveal that the subcompact SUV will get a newly-designed multi-function steering wheel with mounted cruise control buttons. Rumor has it that the 2020 Tata Nexon will get a sunroof and rain sensing wipers.

We expect it to receive a bunch of new comfort and connectivity features. It might get a slightly larger touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. There could also be an all digital instrument console, sourced from Bosch. Read – Tata Harrier Dark Edition Details Leaked

Engine setup will remain unchanged – i.e. 1.2L Revotron petrol and 1.5L Revotorq. Both powertrains, however, will be calibrated to meet the upcoming BS6 emission norms. The gasoline unit makes 108bhp with 170Nm, and the oil burner delivers 108bhp with 260Nm. The subcompact SUV lineup will come with two transmission options – a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed AMT.
