Tata Nexon EV Will Be Initially Available In Select 5 Cities
Tata Nexon EV, the first electric SUV from the home-grown carmaker, is all set to debut on 17th December, 2019. The official launch will happen in the first half of 2020 (between January – March). According to a fresh media report, the Tata Nexon electric SUV will initially made available in select 5 cities including Mumbai, Pune, New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata and Ahmedabad.
The Tata dealerships in the aforementioned cities are likely to have a trained staff along with the proper charging infrastructure. The sales and service centers for the Tata Nexon EV will be gradually spread across more cities.
We have reported earlier that the Tata Nexon EV will be based on the facelifted model of the subcompact SUV that’s due for early next year. Both models will be showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo that will begin from 7th February.
The Tata Nexon EV will be the company’s first car to feature its Ziptron electric technology that has a IP67 (dust and water proof) approved battery and motor pack. The latter one will come with an 8 years of warranty.
The carmaker claims that the Nexon electric SUV will deliver a range of around 300km on a single charge. Tata might provide multiple charging options with the Tata Nexon EV. It’s estimated to be priced around Rs 15 lakh.
