Tata Nexon EV Vs Regular Nexon

Tata Nexon EV electric SUV has finally made its global debut at an event in Mumbai. It the brand’s first long-range electric vehicle that’s claimed to deliver range over 300km on a full charge. The Nexon EV is also the first production model to feature Tata’s Ziptron EV technology with a 30.2kWh lithium-ion battery powering the 129PS.245Nm electric motor.

Design and styling of the new Tata Nexon EV is slightly different than the regular model. At the front end, you can notice the sleeker headlamps, newly-designed bumper and revised grille. The new machined alloy wheels and re-designed floating roof further distinguish it from the petrol/diesel-powered Nexon.

Tata Nexon EV Details

Save for the new LED graphics for the taillamps, the rear section of the Tata Nexon EV looks exactly similar to the regular model. The Nexon EV ground clearance stands at 205mm. Similar to the Altorz EV that broke cover at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, it also get a unique Electric Teal paint scheme.

Changes have also been made inside the cabin. The Tata Nexon EV has Black and Cream interior theme along with the Altroz-inspired flat bottom steering wheel. The dashboard layout, however, remains unchanged. The Tata Nexon EV receives the latest version of the 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system that’s compatible to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Tata Nexon EV Interior

The electric SUV from Tata comes with connected car technology that helps monitoring vehicle health, tracking car’s location, driving telematics, battery health and safety alerts. The auto AC unit with rear AC vents and a sunroof ensure comfort.
