Tata Motors has rolled out its 100,000th Tata Nexon from its Ranjangaon production facility. The company has achieved this milestone in less than 22 months. The Tata Nexon was first launched in our market in September 2017.
The Tata Nexon is currently the safest made-in-India car, secured 5 star rating in the Global NCAP crash test rating. In fact, it is the only car in India to have achieved this feat. The Nexon was also India’s second most selling compact SUV in the past 1 year. Also See – Tata Nexon JTP performance model spied
Unlike contemporaries, the Tata Nexon comes with unique coupe-inspired design and premium three-tone interiors. The SUV is available with 2 engine options – a 110PS, 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel and a 110PS, 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol. Adding to it, the SUV offers multi-drive modes – ECO, CITY and SPORT, segment-leading 209mm ground clearance and floating infotainment with 8 speakers.
Tata Motors is also readying the mid-life facelift of the Nexon compact SUV, which is most likely to arrive in the end of this year or early 2020. The new model will adopt the brand’s new IMPACT 2.0 DESIGN Language. Apart from the updated Nexon, Tata Motors will launch the Altroz premium hatchback, Buzzard 7-seater SUV and the updated versions of the Tiago and Tigor.
