Tata Motors Unveils 4 New Cars At 2019 Geneva Motor Show

Tata Altroz and Buzzard 7-seater SUV will hit Indian shores this year.

Tata Motors has finally taken the wraps off its four all-new models, namely, Buzzard 7-seater, H2X SUV concept, Altroz premium hatchback and Altroz EV (electric vehicle). The Tata Altroz hatch and Buzzard SUV will hit Indian roads this year, the H2X SUV and Altroz electric car might come sometime next year.

Talking about the Tata Altroz, the premium hatchback has been built on the Alfa (Agile, Light, Flexible and Advanced) platform. Based on the 45X concept that was previewed last year at the Delhi Auto Expo, the Altroz features Tata’s new-generation Impact Design 2.0 philosophy with styling bits like LED headlamps with LED DRLs, a slim front grille, tri-arrow shaped fog lamps, sculpted bonnet, bold shoulder lines, a floating roofline and LED taillamps.

The Tata Buzzard, the 7-seater version of the Harrier SUV, has also been previewed at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. In terms of design and styling, the SUV shares a strong resemblance with the smaller 5-seater sibling. Though, it receives minor aesthetic upgrades including body cladding, roof rails, running boards, a larger glass area and a coupe styled rear design.

The Tata H2X micro SUV concept is yet another model from the home-grown carmaker based on the Alfa platform with new Impact Design 2.0 language. The mini SUV features Tata’s signature ‘Humanity Line’ grille, flared wheel arches with large wheels, a floating roof and upright pillars along with tall stance. Read – Tata Blackbird To Challenge Hyundai Creta In India

The home-grown carmaker also unveiled its electric version of the Altroz underpinning the Alfa architecture. It also previews Tata’s electrification possibilities for the models built on its new scalable Alfa platform. Engine and feature details of the new Tata electric vehicle are still under the wraps.
