Tata Motors Partners With Microsoft India To Develop High-tech Cars

With this partnership, Tata Motors aims to leverage Microsoft’s Connected Vehicle Technologies.

Tata Motors today announced a strategic partnership with Microsoft India to redefine connected and personalized driving experiences for Indian buyers. With this move, the home-grown carmaker aims to leverage Microsoft’s connected vehicle technologies that combine artificial intelligence (AI), advanced machine learning, and the Internet of Things (IoT) capabilities on the global hyper-scale Azure cloud. These advanced technologies traverse the digital and physical worlds and create a highly personalized and safer driving experience across the digital life of a vehicle owner.

The first vehicle, based on this vision, will be unveiled onn 7th March at the Geneva International Motor Show 2017. The concept car will have Tata Motors’ unique user interface application and Microsoft-enabled functionality such as advanced navigation, predictive maintenance, telematics and remote monitoring features.
