Tata Harrier With Sunroof and Automatic Gearbox Coming Soon

Tata Motors is getting ready to roll out a range of new models including the Altroz premium hatchback, Nexon EV and Gravitas 7-seater SUV. Alongside, the carmaker will also bring in the facelifted version of its 3 models – Tiago, Tigor and Nexon. According to a fresh media report, the company will bring in the Tata Harrier with sunroof and automatic gearbox in the early 2020.

The home-grown carmaker will launch the Tata Gravitas at the 2020 Auto Expo. The 7-seater SUV will come with a 170bhp, 2.0 Kryotec diesel engine and a Hyundai-sourced 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox. The Tata Harrier automatic will receive the same automatic transmission unit.

Tata Harrier Prices Increased

Currently, the Tata Harrier comes with a 2.0L Kryotec diesel motor that’s returns a claimed power of 138bhp with 350Nm of torque. The compact SUV lineup is offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox only.

In August 2019, the carmaker offered a Webasto sunroof as an optional accessory for the Harrier SUV at an additional cost of Rs 95,000. The Tata Harrier Pro Edition, which was introduced just prior to the festive season, also gets an automatic sunroof as an accessory. This time around, the company will add a panoramic sunroof to the SUV’s feature list.

Prices of the Tata Harrier start from Rs 12.99 lakh for the entry-level XE variant and go all the way up to Rs 16.95 lakh for the top-end XZ (DT) trim. The XT and XZ Dark editions are available at Rs 15.55 lakh and Rs 16.85 lakh respectively. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
