The Tata Harrier will come with multi driving modes – Road, Rain and Gravel/Off-road.

Tata Motors has dropped yet another teaser of the Harrier premium SUV. The latest teaser confirms that the all-new Tata Harrier will come with multi driving modes – Road, Rain and Gravel/Off-road. Integrated on the centre console, the rotary selector has piano black and chrome bezels finish. The SUV also features silver door handles with leather wrapped grips, hill descent control and switchable traction control.

The carmaker also confirmed that the Harrier will offer best-in-class JBL audio system along with trapezoidal aircon vents with silver bezels. Similar to the concept, the production-ready version will come with a floating 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and dual-tone (Grey & Brown) dashboard. It will support Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, MirrorLink, navigation system, Bluetooth and reverse camera display.

The latest spy pictures reveal that the Tata Harrier will also get a leather wrapped steering wheel, tan seat upholstery, a monotone back lighting for the instrument console and coloured MID. Claimed to deliver “pure driving pleasure”, the Tata Harrier will make a use of a Kryotec 2.0L, four-cylinder diesel engine that meets the BSVI emission norms. It will deliver power worth 140bhp against 300Nm of torque. Initially, the SUV will be made available with a 6-speed manual transmission only. Reports suggest that the carmaker will introduce Hyundai-sourced 6-speed automatic gearbox at a later stage. It will first debut on the Tata Harrier 7-seater (codenamed H7X) SUV.
