Tata Motors has introduced a few new features to its popular Harrier and Safari SUVs in the country. All variants of the Tata Harrier are now available with the USB Type C ports at the front. It’s also available for rear passengers in the XZ and above variants. In order to enhance safety quotient, the Harrier XZS and above variants have been equipped with enhanced ESP (electronic stability program). The enhanced ESP includes driver doze-off alert, after-impact braking and panic brake alert.
The Harrier ZX+ variants are offered with the wireless charger, electronic parking brake and disc brakes on all four wheels. The iRA comes with some enhanced features including smartwatch app connectivity, auto and manual DCT check, feature usage analytics, monthly health report and drive analytics. The Tata Safari receives similar feature upgrades for respective variants. One must note that Tata’s flagship SUV was already available with all-wheel disc brakes. The comfort head restraints now available with the XZ+ variant only.
With the feature upgrades, both SUVs witnessed a price hike of up to Rs 31,000. The Tata Harrier is now available within the price range of Rs 14.80 lakh – Rs 22.35 lakh. The model lineup includes 5 dual-tone variants that cost from Rs 19.10 lakh – Rs 22.20 lakh. Prices of the Tata Safari now start at Rs 15.45 lakh and go up to Rs 23.66 lakh. The XT+, XZ+, XTA+, XZA+ Dark Edition cost Rs 19.53 lakh, Rs 21.60 lakh, Rs 20.83 lakh and Rs 22.90 lakh respectively. The XZ+ Kaziranga and XZA+ Kaziranga Editions are priced at Rs 21.50 lakh and Rs 22.80 lakh respectively. While the XZ+ and XZA+ Jet Editions are now available at Rs 21.50 lakh and Rs 22.80 lakh, the XZ+ Adventure and XZA+ Adventure Editions are priced at Rs 21.50 lakh and Rs 22.80 lakh respectively. The Safari XZ+ Gold costs Rs 22.36 lakh and XZA+ Gold comes with a price tag of Rs 23.66 lakh. All aforementioned prices are ex-showroom.
