Tata Harrier Production Model

Tata Harrier SUV will officially go on sale in the first quarter of 2019, most probably in January.

Tata Motors has officially started taking pre-bookings for the much-awaited Tata Harrier SUV from today. The SUV is scheduled to be launched in the first quarter of 2019, most probably in January. The homegrown SUV has already released some teaser images and videos showcasing the off-road abilities of the SUV. However, teasers do not reveal the whole vehicle.

Check out the first picture of the SUV in production form, which has been leaked online. The picture reveals the final design of the SUV, which is quite appealing. The Harrier is based on the Tata H5X concept, which was first showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo. Tata claims that the SUV retains around 80% of the concept’s design, which is a stunning looking vehicle. Also See – Tata Harrier – Answer To All Your Questions

The leaked picture is from the facility, which is likely to be a crash test centre. The rear three-quarter of the SUV looks like a bigger version of the Nexon, though it gets a more SUV-ish profile than Nexon’s crossover-SUV-ish style. The SUV gets a sloping roofline that extends to serve as an integrated roof-mounted spoiler as well. The thick C-pillar is similar to the Nexon, giving it a much-needed sporty look.

The tail-lamps are sleek and likely to be fitted with LEDs. Similar to the concept, the SUV gets large skid board integrated in the rear bumper. The side profile of the Harrier comes with strong creases, while the flared wheel arches merges to the tail-lamp. The alloy wheel design is simple; however, the vehicle could receive different set of alloys. Also See – Tata Harrier Prices Leaked; Undercuts Jeep Compass
