Tata Harrier Dual-Tone Version Coming Soon

Tata Harrier Prices Increased

The dual-tone paint scheme is expected to be offered on the top-end version of the Tata Harrier.

Tata Motors is all set to introduce the Harrier SUV with new dual-tone paint scheme. This could be the move to face the rising competition from the likes of aggressively priced MG Hector and the upcoming Kia Seltos. Tata Motors has recently released a couple of teaser videos, which hints at the dual tone paint scheme for the SUV. Though, Tata dealers are also offering the dual-tone paint schemes with the Harrier through the aftermarket route.

The dual-tone paint scheme is expected to be offered on the top-end version of the Harrier. The company is offering the dual-tone scheme with the top-end variant of the Nexon compact SUV. This model is available with a range of contrasting roof options in multiple colours and similar treatment could be offered in the Harrier SUV as well.

Tata Motors has recently increased the prices of the Harrier SUV. We believe that the dual-tone version won’t receive major price hike. It is expected to see a price rise of around Rs 15,000 to Rs 25,000. Not just dual-tone option, Tata Motors is also planning to launch the automatic version of the Harrier towards the end of this year. It will receive a 6-speed automatic gearbox option, which will be sourced from Hyundai. Also See – MG Hector Vs Tata Harrier

Adding to it, Tata Motors is also working on the powerful version of the Harrier. The existing 2.0-litre diesel engine produces 138bhp and 350Nm of torque. The company will tune this engine to produce 170bhp and 350Nm of torque. Adding to it, this engine will be compliant with the upcoming BS6 emission norms. Tata Motors will also launch the 7-seater version of the Tata Harrier, which will be positioned against the Mahindra XUV500. The 7-seater model could be called the Tata Cassini or Buzzard.
