Tata Gravitas Interior Revealed – Premium Leather Seats, JBL Speakers

The Tata Gravitas 6/7-seater SUV is likely to hit roads by the end of this year or early next year. Ahead of its official launch, the interior pictures of its production-ready Tata Gravitas SUV have been emerged on the web. While its cabin design and layout looks exactly similar to the Harrier, it gets premium Benecke-Kaliko oak brown leather seat upholstery and JBL audio system. The SUV comes equipped with an 8.8-inch floating infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with voice recognition feature. It also offers a 7-inch instrument panel and a 3-spoke steering wheel with mounted controls. Features such as climate control system, push button start, adjustable driver’s seat, cruise control, rear armrest with cup holders, electronic stability program, hill hold and hill descent control, corner stability control, traction control, roll over mitigation, multiple airbags and Isofix child seat mounts are likely to be carried over from the Harrier 5-seater.

Tata Gravitas Seats

The Gravitas will have three-row seating arrangement with two captain seats in the middle row with the 6-seats configuration. The overall length, width and height of the SUV stand at 4662mm, 1894mm and 1786mm respectively. Compared to the Harrier, the Tata Gravitas will be 63mm longer, 72mm wider and 80mm taller. Visually, it appears slightly different from its younger sibling. Some of its design highlights include a cascading grille with honeycomb mesh, body cladding on the sides, squared wheel arches, , roof rails, a big rear windscreen, LED tail lamps and a roof-mounted spoiler. Power source for the Tata Gravitas SUV will be the Fiat-sourced 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine sourced from the Harrier. The oil burner makes a top power of 168bhp and 350Nm of peak torque. For performing transmission duties, it will have a 6-speed manual (standard) and a 6-speed automatic torque converter (optional) gearbox.
