5. Tata Nexon AMT
The Nexon AMT (automated manual transmission) version unveiled alongside other Tata cars at Auto Expo 2018. This new model will come as option for buyers who are looking for a stylish, feature-loaded and easy-to-drive sub-4 meter SUV within affordable price range. The new automatic version will be made available with both petrol (1.2-litre Revotron) and diesel (1.5-litre Revotorq) engines. Unlike the standard model that comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox, this new variant features the Magneti Marelli sourced 6-speed AMT gearbox. It comes with multi-drive modes – Sport, Eco and City. Save for a new colour scheme, the overall design and features of the car remain unchanged.
