3. Tata Tiago JTP
Tiago is the first Tata car designed on its first-gen IMPACT design philosophy, followed by Tigor, Hexa and Nexon. Favoured for its contemporary design, well-packed cabin and efficient engines, the Tiago has been doing well for the carmaker. Now, the company is all set to bring in the performance iteration of the hatchback. Called the Tata Tiago JTP, this hot hatch shared floor with other Tata cars at Auto Expo 2018. Once launched, the Tiago JTP will take on the Maruti Baleno RS and the Volkswagen Polo GTI. Interestingly, it will become the smallest and the most affordable hot hatch of the country. Powering the new Tata JTP hatchback will be a 120bhp, 1.2L Revotron petrol engine producing 108.4bhp. The car has witnessed some subtle design changes along with mechanical upgrades such as stiffer suspension, bigger brakes, etc.
