Tata Motors is doing final preparations for the launch of much-awaited Bolt hatchback today. Ahead of its launch, the Bolt with an optional body kit and sporty looking interior has been spotted at dealership. It is expected that the body kit offering will be offered at dealership side; however, full details about the car will be revealed in few hours.
The body kit comprises of new sporty bumpers, side skirts and a new spoiler alongside a high-mounted light. Also visible is the red accents on front and rear seats. Alongside the body kit model, the standard variant is also put on display at dealership with regular upholstery and is equipped with silver inserts. The spotted vehicle features a standard black dashboard instead of the orange dashboard. It is expected to be the top-end model and features projector headlamps and alloy wheels.
Based on the modified X1 platform, the Bolt hatchback will be offered in both petrol and diesel guise. While the petrol version is the 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol unit, the oil burner is the tried & tested Fiat-sourced 1.3-litre multi-jet unit. Both engines paired to a five-speed manual gearbox which sends the power to front wheels of the car.
Talking about features, the top-end models get smoked clusters with projectors, fog lamps, alloy wheels, multi-functional steering wheel, an advanced 8-speaker touchscreen based infotainment system with voice recognition and MapMyIndia GPS navigation, automatic climate control, electrically adjustable wing mirrors, etc.
