Tata Altroz premium hatchback has started arriving at authorized dealerships across the nation. Scheduled to launch on 22nd January 2020, the Altroz will be made available in five trims – XE, XM, XT , XZ and XZ (O) – with a 1.2L petrol and a 1.5L diesel engine options. The naturally-aspirated, 3-cylinder petrol motor generates a peak power of 86bhp and a peak torque of 113Nm. The turbocharged oil burner, on the other hand, delivers 90bhp with 200N. Initially, the Tata Altroz will be made available with a 5-speed manual gearbox only.
Proportionally, the Tata Altroz measures 3990mm in length, 1755mm in width and 1523mm in height with a wheelbase of 2501mm. It has ground clearance of 165mm and offers a boot space of 345-665-litres. The Tata Altroz will offer the segment-first factory customization options that will vary variant-wise. There will be four custom packs – Rhythm, Style, Luxe and Urban. Some of its key features include projector headlamps with LED DRLs, LED fog lamps, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, front and rear armrests and more.
The list of standard features includes barrel headlamps, steel wheels with hub caps, 4-inch LCD instrument console, ABS with EBD, dual front airbags, rear parking sensors and high speed limiter.
