Tata Altroz Official Unveiling Next Month

Tata Altroz launch

Tata Altroz will hit showrooms next month.

Tata Altroz premium hatchback will be the next big launch from the home-grown carmaker in India. Its media drive is slated to happen in the third week of next month, which will be followed by its official launch. We have already seen the hatchback’s close-to-production version at the Geneva Motor Show in March, 2019. Based on the 45X concept, the Tata Altroz will rival Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20, Honda Jazz and the new Toyota Glanza.

The new premium hatchback from Tata will be made available with three powertrains – 85bhp, 1.2L petrol, 102bhp, 1.2L turbocharged petrol (borrowed from the Nexon) and a 1.5L turbocharged diesel. Initially, the Tata Altroz will come with a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed manual gearbox options. It’s likely to get an automatic variant at a later stage. Read – Tata Tigor Gets 2 New AMT Variants
