Prior to their official unveiling, the company has dropped the first teaser video of the Tata 45X revealing its sporty silhouette.

The Tata 45X concept based hatchback will be stacked up against the Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Hyundai Elite i20. The auto major confirmed that its new premium hatchback will hit Indian roads this year. While the official launch date is yet to be announced, a fresh media report claims that it will go on sale in the first week of October, 2019 (that means during festive season).

Similar to the Harrier, the production-ready version of the Tata 45X is likely to stay close to its concept. The hatchback will be Tata’s first production model to be based on the Alpha platform. It will carry the new-generation Impact design 2.0 philosophy as we have seen in the Harrier.

Rumours are on rife that 45X hatchback will come with both petrol and diesel engine options. While the gasoline unit will be benefited with the ISG (Integrated Starter Generator) mild hybrid system, the diesel version will come with cruise control system.
