The 45X EV concept will showcase the brand’s electrification possibilities for products based on the Alfa architecture.

We informed you earlier that Tata will unveil 3 all-new cars at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. The company will unveil the H7X 7-seater SUV, and 45X premium hatchback and the Vision Hornbill micro-SUV concept. If latest media report is to be believed, Tata motors will also showcased an all-electric version of the 45X premium hatchback.

The 45X EV concept will showcase the brand’s electrification possibilities for products based on the Alfa architecture. For people not in the know, Tata had showcased the E-Vision sedan concept last year. This concept was based on the OMEGA platform, which underpins the Harrier 5-seater SUV. Not much is known about the 45X EV, but the cabin of the car is likely to be inspired by the EVision sedan concept.

Tata Motors will also showcase the Harrier 5-seater SUV at the Geneva Motor Show. The H7X SUV is basically the 7-seater SUV, which will be based on the OMEGA architecture. This SUV is expected to be launched in the Indian market in the end of this year. This SUV will be powered by a 2.0-litre KRYOTEC diesel engine that produces 173bhp of power and 350Nm of torque. It will also receive a new 6-speed automatic gearbox.

The Tata 45X concept based premium hatchback will be launched in mid-2019. This model will also mark the debut of brand’s new Alfa platform, which will also underpin the Hornbill micro-SUV concept. The Hornbill based small SUV will also make its India debut in the pre-production avatar at the 2020 Delhi Auto Expo.
