It is also claimed to feature a rear disc brake, but we aren’t sure about the same. We expect it to be the top-end variant, which will sit above the ZXi/Zdi trims. This model could feature the powerful version of 1.3L multi-jet motor that produces 90PS of top power. The Suzuki Swift Sport was unveiled at the 2014 Delhi Motor Show, and it is powered by a 1.6-litre 4-cylinder motor. This engine is capable of producing a top power output of 100PS at 6900rpm and a peak torqu of 160Nm at 4,400rpm. It catches a top speed of 193kmph and sprints to 0-100kmph in mere 8.7 seconds.

Maruti Suzuki is also reportedly working on a new premium hatchback, codenamed YRA. This hatchback is expected to go on sale by 2015-end and will compete against the likes of Volkswagen Polo, Honda Jazz and Hyundai Elite i20.
