No changes have been made to the engine. The cruiser’s special editions derive power from the same 154.9cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine pushing out 14bhp at 8000rpm and 14Nm at 6,000. It consists of six sensors that determine the fuel required for better combustion, thus improving throttle response of the bike. The same powertrain has already been used in the Suzuki Gixxer FI.
Suspension mechanism, too, remains unchanged. The Intruder’s special editions feature the telescopic front forks and Swing Arm Type mono-shock unit at the rear. Both the models have front and rear disc brakes. The ABS unit is available with the FI SP edition only.
