Suzuki Intruder SP and Intruder FI SP Editions Launched
Suzuki Intruder SP and Intruder FI SP editions are priced at Rs 10.05 lakh and Rs 1.07 lakh (ex, Delhi) respectively.
Aiming to cash in the upcoming festive season, Suzuki Motorcycle India has introduced a special edition of the Intruder crusier. Called the Suzuki Intruder SP and Intruder FI SP editions, the new models are priced at Rs 100,500 and Rs 107,300 (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively. While the Suzuki Intruder SP edition is offered in Metallic Matte Black and Candy Sanoma Red colour options, the Suzuki Intruder FI SP edition comes with fuel injected engine and antilock braking system (ABS).
Commenting on the launch of the Suzuki Intruder special editions, Mr. Satoshi Uchida – Managing Director, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. No changes have been made to the engine. The cruiser’s special editions derive power from the same 154.9cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine pushing out 14bhp at 8000rpm and 14Nm at 6,000. It consists of six sensors that determine the fuel required for better combustion, thus improving throttle response of the bike. The same powertrain has already been used in the Suzuki Gixxer FI.
Suspension mechanism, too, remains unchanged. The Intruder’s special editions feature the telescopic front forks and Swing Arm Type mono-shock unit at the rear. Both the models have front and rear disc brakes. The ABS unit is available with the FI SP edition only.
