Suzuki will unveil the much-anticipated iM-4 concept at the Geneva Motor Show tomorrow. The concept previews the YBA compact SUV, which is scheduled to make its India debut next year. The YBA compact SUV has already been spotted a couple of times in India, indicating that the development work of the car has been commenced.
Ahead of its official unveiling tomorrow, SuzukiCars Instagram page has posted a picture of the Suzuki iM-4 concept. According to Suzukicars, it is the first official image of the iM-4 concept bound for Geneva debut on March 3.
The iM-4 is a mini crossover, and the picture suggests that the vehicle looks production-ready. It features an upright front end with thin-single slat chrome grille that merges into LED headlamps. Other additions include puffed-up wheel arches and stylish vents on the C-Pillar. According to Suzuki, the SUV is “an iconic mini 4×4” and adopts “shape of inspiration”. The concept provides “compact 4×4 DNA” and new technologies, as well as “distinctive styling that will provide real inspiration to drivers”.
The iM-4 SUV is expected to be based on the Swift hatchback. It will rival against the likes of Ford EcoSport and the upcoming VW Taigun and Nexon SUVs in India.
