Suzuki, the Japanese two-wheeler maker is trying hard to improve its sales in the highly competitive Indian market. Besides Gixxer twins, no other Suzuki motorcycles manages to mark strong presence in the market. It seems like Suzuki is considering a new cruiser motorcycle – Suzuki GZ 150 – for the Indian market. According to bikeadvice, one of the company dealers reveals that the bike is being prepared for our market launch.
This cruiser will directly rival the popular Bajaj Avenger motorcycle. Already on sale in select Asian markets including Indonesia, China and Vietnam, the Suzuki GZ150 is a 150cc cruiser motorcycle. It is powered by 149cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that is good for 15.4bhp and 11.2Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a five-speed gearbox.
Suzuki GZ 150 India Launch
The company is yet to make an official announcement on the launch of this cruiser bike. However, media report suggests that the bike could be launched before festive season 2017. We will update you on the same as soon as Suzuki announces its launch details.

The global-spec Suzuki GZ 150 model is powered by a single-cylinder, 149cc, air-cooled engine. It is equipped with electronic fuel injection systems DCP-FI to return higher power and better fuel economy. This engine is capable of producing a maximum power output of 15.4bhp at 8,000rpm and a peak torque of 11.2Nm at 6,000rpm. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 5-speed gearbox.
The suspension mechanism of the bike comprises of telescopic forks and twin shocks, adjustable 5 position at the front and rear, respectively. For braking, the bike gets disc brakes.
