Suzuki Motorcycle India, today, rolled out two new bikes – the GSX-S1000 and the GSX-S1000F at Rs. 12,25,000 and Rs. 1 2,70,000 (ex-showroom, New Delhi) respectively. While the former is a naked roadster, the latter one is the fully faired version of the same model. Both the bikes share the engine and features, and despite being sportbikes are practical for day-to-day rides.
Design & Styling
Wearing the bold stances and sharp styling, the sibling bikes look quite attractive. Based on the advanced and lightweight chassis, the bikes feature radial mount monoblocbrembo brakes, switchbable 3-mode traction control system, easy-to-read instrument cluster and 43mm inverted KYV forks.
Engine Specs and Transmission
The GSX-S1000 and the GSX-S1000F get power from the same engine that also powers the GSX-R1000, i.e. a 999cc, 4-stroke, 4-Cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC. This engine churns out a maximum power output of 160bhp and 9500rpm.
