With an aim to cash in on the coming festive season, Suzuki Motorcycle India has introduced the special edition of the Gixxer SP and Gixxer SF SP motorcycles in India. While the Suzuki Gixxer SP special edition is being offered at Rs 81,175, the Gixxer SF SP carries a price tag of Rs 99,312. That means the new editions will cost you same as the standard model. Recently, the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer added the Gixxer SF ABS version to the model lineup. Besides the single-channel ABS unit, this new variant comes with a few new body graphics and three colour options.
Coming to the 2017 Suzuki Gixxer SP and Gixxer SF SP special editions, both the models receive new graphics on the fuel tank and front cowl. There is the signature Gixxer SP badge on the bike. Since these are just special edition, no mechanical changes have been made to the bikes. The Suzuki Gixxer SP and Gixxer SF SP continue to use the same 154.9 cc single-cylinder engine churning out a maximum power output of 14.5bhp at 8000rpm and a peak torque of 14Nm at 6000rpm.
