Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 Gets Race-Inspired MotoGP Edition; Price Rs 1.71 Lakh

Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the MotoGP edition of the Gixxer SF 250. The SF 250 takes styling and engineering cues from Suzuki’s popular motorcycles – GSX-R and Hayabusa. The new Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 MotoGP edition is priced at Rs 1.71 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and will be available across the Suzuki Premium Network in India.

The MotoGP edition of the Gixxer SF 250 sports the same Suzuki Racing Blue colour and livery theme of the 2019 Suzuki MotoGP machine, GSX-RR. It comes with Suzuki Ecstar decals, distinctive wheel pin strips and other MotoGP inspired features.

Commenting on the launch, Mr. Devashish Handa, Vice President, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. said, “Following the success of GIXXER SF 250, we are thrilled to launch the MotoGP edition of GIXXER SF 250 that asserts Suzuki’s racing DNA. The Suzuki Racing Blue colour has always been the identity of Suzuki’s spirit and passion for racing. The contemporary styling coupled with sporty design and high performance engine powered with innovative SOCS technology, further enhances the racing character of the motorcycle. We are sure that the motorcycle will be received with the same enthusiasm as the other variants of GIXXER brand.”

The Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 is powered by a 249cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder fuel injection SOHC engine with Suzuki oil cooling system and SEP technology. This engine churns out a maximum power output of 26.5PS of power at 9,000rpm and 22.6Nm of torque at 7,500rpm. Some of the features include fully digital speedometer, LED headlamps and tail-lamps, sporty dual muffler, premium brushed finish alloy wheels and rear tyre hugger.

Featuring the new oil cooling technology, the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 engine offers smooth acceleration, high output, compactness, low fuel consumption, high durability and ease of maintenance. Braking system comprises of disc brakes at both ends and a dual-channel ABS system for smooth braking and avoids lock-up during harsh road conditions.
