Suzuki Gixxer 250 Rendered

The Suzuki Gixxer 250 twins will directly challenge the Yamaha FZ25 and Fazer 250

It is no secret that Japanese two-wheeler maker, Suzuki is considering a 250cc motorcycle on the lines of Gixxer range for Indian market. Similar to Gixxer 150, the new 250cc motorcycle is expected to arrive in two body styles – naked roadster and a fully-faired SF. Here is a speculative rendering of the upcoming fully-faired Gixxer 250 –

According to the Young Machine, the new Suzuki Gixxer 250 could feature a oil cooling system instead of liquid-cooling. This system is currently available on the Pulsar 220 and the Yamaha FZ25/ Fazer 25. The speculative rendering gives us a possible idea of the design language for the new bike. It looks quite appealing thanks to sporty and angular front end with LED lights and Gixxer body decals. The render also has upside down forks, petal discs and an underbelly exhaust. Suzuki is yet to make an official announcement on the same, though company officials hinted that a quarter-litre motorcycle could arrive in the next 1 year. It is expected that the company will first launched the naked version of the motorcycle, which will be followed by a fully-faired motorcycle. It is likely to feature a 250cc single-cylinder engine that could offer around 24bhp of power. Dual-channel ABS will be offered as standard.
