Japanese two-wheeler automaker, Suzuki is trying hard to improve its market share in the highly competitive Indian market. Buoyed by positive response for Gixxer range, Suzuki is now planning to launch a range of new bikes starting from entry-level to performance oriented segment leading. Suzuki GSX-S750

Suzuki Bikes At Auto Expo 2018 - GSX-S750

First model to join our list of new upcoming Suzuki bikes at Auto Expo 2018 is the GSX-S750 naked streetfighter. This model will be launched at the event itself. This motorcycle will be locally assembled, which will help the company to achieve aggressive pricing. The GSX-S750 looks like a smaller version of the GSX-S1000. Powering the motorcycle is a 749cc, liquid-cooled inline-four motor that churns out 113bhp of power at 10,500rpkm. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a six-speed manual and chain drive system. The motorcycle is equipped with ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) and multi-level traction control system. Szuki V-Strom 650

V-Strom 650 adventure tourer will be showcased alongside other Suzuki bikes at Auto Expo 2018 in February. This motorcycle shares design cues from the litre-class brother, the V-Strom 1000. It is powered by a 650cc liquid-cooled V-Twin engine that produces 70bhp of power at 8,800rpm and a peak torque of 66Nm. In overseas markets, the motorcycle is available in two variants – the standard V-Strom 650 and a V-Strom 650XT. This adventure bike will be imported to India via a CKD kit. Both models come with ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) and traction control. The standard variant comes with cast wheels, while the XT comes with wire spokewheels.

Suzuki Gixxer FI

The company will launch the long-awaited fuel injected version of the Gixxer alongside other Suzuki bikes at Auto Expo 2018. This motorcycle will receive new body graphics and 155cc single-cylinder engine with a fuel-injection system. This will improve the overall performance of the motorcycle. It will also take care of the shuttering problem that causes continuous trouble few models of the carburetted version. Powering the motorcycle is a 154.9cc, single-cylinder SOHC engine, which is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. This engine is capable of producing 14.5bhp of power at 8,000rpm and 14Nm of torque at 6,000rpm.

Suzuki V-Strom 250

Seeing the growing demand for adventure motorcycles, Suzuki is planning to launch its smallest adventure bike V-Strom 250 in the country. Likely to be unveiled at Auto Expo 2018, this motorcycle will rival the likes of Kawasaki Versys X-300 and the upcoming KTM 390 Adventure. It shares design cues from the V-Strom 1000 such as signature mud guard. It comes equipped with non-adjustable windshield, alloy wheels, forged levers, a dual-channel ABS, LCD instrument panel and telescopic suspension up front. Powering the motorcycle is a 248cc parallel twin cylinder engine that is good for 24bhp of power and 23Nm of torque.

Suzuki Swish 125

Japanese automaker is planning to launch the new Suzuki Swish 2018 at the 2018 Delhi Auto Expo. The new model had its global debut at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show. Just to jog your memory, Suzuki had discontinued the Swish scooter from the Indian market in April, 2017. This model comes with all-new bodywork design and looks sharper and sleeker than the previous model. It is powered by the same 125cc, single-cylinder engine that also powers the Access 125. This engine is capable of producing 8.7PS of power and 10.2Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a CVT automatic gearbox.
